The area surrounding the Pitlochry Dam and Fish Ladder is a controlled industrial site. Water levels in the River Tummel can rise suddenly due to hydro-electric operations. When walking the Loch Faskally shoreline or crossing the suspension bridge, stay on marked trails. After dark, avoid the wooded paths around the Cuil-an-Daraich area; lighting is non-existent and the steep embankments toward the river can be treacherous. Stick to the illuminated Atholl Road or the direct access paths to the Festival Theatre.

  5. Set the Duration: Choose how long you want to share your location. For a night out, we recommend selecting "Until you turn this off" or setting a timeframe (e.g., 6 hours) that covers your journey home.
  6. Pick a Contact: Select the trusted person(s) you wish to share with from your contact list.
